Can
we ever try again...? Updated: January
19, 2010 |
|
Hey everybody, Graves here. Happy Valentines Day, Happy Easter,
Happy 4th of July, Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas,
Happy Hanukah, and Happy 2010!
I'm not going to lie to you. I've just been flat out lazy.
Sure, a lot of things have been happening on my end, such as life sort of
taking off for me in a few ways, but what sucks is that I've not put any
time or effort into a website that I love, even if I haven't shown
it. It's great to do this for the Sheloyd fans... but that's the
thing. I haven't done jack squat for them!
Well, for those of you who still come here hoping for updates, fear
not. They're coming.
I won't make excuses, and I won't make promises. It's been a
terrible year for the website, but things are going to change around
here. First of all, the "Coming Soon" page will be going
away as some of those comics may not happen at all, period.
Looking over some things, I'm DEFINITELY not happy with Tifa vs.
WWE at this point anymore. This was something that was conceived
back in 2004 and a lot's changed in the WWE since then and rewrites to
remain relevant and tasteful had to be made. Sadly, this ended up
being a harder task than I assumed. I want to do Tifa vs. WWE some
time, but it won't be soon, I think.
Sheena vs. Naru WILL happen soon, though. I definitely like what
I did with that one. ^_^
Sango vs. Mr. Burns will more than likely happen, but I'm not certain
if it'll be a bigger part of a three-part series. I've changed the
conclusion of that series so many times and not paid any mind to part two.
Shallow Grave #2 is coming next update, along with gallery
updates. I'm also going to finally update the "Master's Blog"
and discuss my feelings on the Tales of Symphonia games and Sheloyd in
general.
Note what I said there? Next UPDATE, not next week, not next
month, next update. Whenever I do get around to updating, it's
coming. My schedule is consistently shifting and this website's
update schedule will have to do the same. Maybe when I develop
better time management skills...
For those of you who kept coming all this time looking for updates and
checking out my site for what little there was... I'm sorry, and thank
you. See you next time.

Lloyd and Sheena (dot) Com - The Angels
Strike Back in 2009!
Tifa Lockhart |
New
Year, New Hostess! Updated: January
19, 2009 |
|
If you want something done right, a girl's gotta do
it herself.
Hey everyone! Graveheart's Angels leader Tifa
Lockhart here, filling in for Master Graveheart, a.k.a. Zanza, whom, well,
has been nothing but a lazy ass (but don't tell Sango or Sheena I said I
was the leader. They seem to think differently, hehe).
He'll make his return next week when I MAKE him put
up the next parts of Sango vs. Tales of Symphonia. For now, I did
find some of the stuff he's been sitting on to put up, including brand new
artwork for the Sango, Sheena, and the Sheloyd galleries. There are
even a few beautiful pieces of artwork for my own gallery!
Graves has also gotten some complaints about the blue
text being hard to see for the links. I fixed it... at least until
he either tells me where he's keeping the buttons or he puts them up
himself. As for the color scheme? Well, this IS LLOYD and
SHEENA (dot) Com...
He's even added the new Master's Blog tab. So,
what can you expect? Well, Graves has been hanging around the
ScrewAttack.com website, mostly, so you may find a few of his blogs
there. He's got some... interesting rants. Do you agree or
disagree? Do you care? Hey, I gave them a read. He'll
even post some non-hosted rants on this site as well, including part one
of that Tales of Symphonia trilogy he was rambling on about. Three,
as he calls them, "Screw-a-Blogs", are already there.
Well, I think that covers what I was able to dig up
in Graves' computer. Now stop coming to my bar and demanding the
update. I'll just do to you what Sakura wanted to do to the rabid
Halo fanboys.
No, I don't have an email address for you. If
you want to contact Graves and give him some motivation/fan mail/hate
mail, go right ahead and email him at graves@lloydandsheena.com.
Don't ask for me though. I gotta keep my inbox clear for when one of
the REAL CCA authors tell me that they want to hire me.
While I have Graveheart tied up in his computer chair
(I'm not untying him until he gets some more update material done), he's
asking me to give a couple of good friends of his particular credit on
their artwork. First, there is Rose of Battle, who Graves thanks for
four beautiful pieces of Sheloyd art. Great job, Rose. And he
also wants to give Lera thanks for her contribution to my gallery.
What did she do now? Me and... Rufus? Uhh... I don't know how
to respond to THAT, but hey, that's a cute dress I'm wearing. Oh
well. Great job, Lera!
And that'll do it for me and that'll do it for this
week's update. We here at Lloyd and Sheena (dot) com hope you all
had a wonderful holiday season, no matter how you celebrated it.
Here is to a hopefully more active 2009 for this site and Graveheart's
Angels... seriously, I've been waiting to take out the WWE forever
now. I'm getting restless, Graves!

Update
coming Monday (hopefully) Updated: December
5, 2008 |
|
Hey guys, just a quickie update to let you all know I
haven't forgotten about you all.
First of all, I hope you all had a Happy
Thanksgiving. Here's wishing you all survived Black Friday and your
computers survived Cyber Monday.
Second, I have finished Tales of Symphonia:
Dawn of the New World for the Wii and, yes, Sheloyd prevails. Then
again, its a spin-off, so nothing could really be considered canon.
I'll go more into detail when I post my review of the game. The
first part of my Sheloyd Rant Trilogy will be in an update I'll have
posted on Monday.
Third, I've added the link to the CCA forums to the
left navigation bar. If you want to know where I usually hang out
when I'm not at the Mizuho boards, check it out.
Fourth, I thought I'd let you know what all will be
in the next update. Updates to the Lloyd, Sheena, Sheloyd, Sango,
and Tifa galleries, the first of my rants in the revived section, and
three pages to Sango vs. Tales of Symphonia. All of this is in
post-production, so to speak, so hopefully you'll like what there is to
come. Oh yeah, I may update the gallery style to be more
viewer-friendly, but I may not too. No promises in that regard.
Well, that'll do it. Oh, long story short on
Dawn of the New World. If you're a die-hard fan of the original
Tales of Symphonia and expecting a sequel true to the original, you're
going to be disapointed. It's a spin-off, not a sequel, and the
production shows. But if you're a fan of any level looking for a fun
RPG experience on the Wii, definitely check it out. A solid 8.8,
maybe 9 if you give it a curve based on Bandai's meddling, lack of focus
on the original characters, and have no attachment to the old voice actors
or battle system. On the upside, the music was given a pretty cool
upgrade... but why am I telling you this right now? Wait for my
review! ^_^

Tales of Symphonia, Dawn of the New World; Wario vs. Robotnik; apology Updated: November
13, 2008 |
|
"That’s the statue of Lady Sheena, a friend of Lloyd
the Great’s.
That’s a pretty big statue.
Big in all sorts of ways."
~Old Man, Luin, Tales of Symphonia:
Dawn of the New World
Hey guys, just giving you a quick update so you know
I'm still intending updates. I got Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of
the New World on Tuesday and, between hectic events in my life, including
a nasty accounting class, I've mostly been playing that this week.
I'll have my first game review on it hopefully by the time I finish it,
which might be sometime next week. I'm deliberating between styles
including an audio/video review, a comic-style review, or a straight-up
written review, whichever I feel like making my style. Right now,
I'm leaning towards comic-style.
Speaking of comics, I found my first one last
month. No, not Sango vs. Tales of Symphonia, smart guy, and no, not
Athena vs. MTV. My first solo comic since even before this website
came up and running. Wario vs. Robotnik. It was a comic done
about six years ago and was my first attempt to get off the ground as a
comic writer. It's complete, it's short, it's good for a few
chuckles, but is it good enough for this site? Well, I'm going to
leave that up to you. Drop by the CCA forums and vote on it or shoot
me an email. If I get enough positive reactions, I'll post it next
update along with the next page of Sango vs. Tales of Symphonia, which is
sitting in standby.
Also, I have some button issues. Nothing is
looking good, frankly. So I'm still tossing around ideas. If
you have brightness issues, let me know and I'll try to change the text
color to something acceptible.
Once again, I apologize for the lack of updates since
we went back on the air. I really do want to update this site
weekly, but, well, for any of you who have had an accounting class, you'll
know its a very demanding subject.
Until next time, remember, long live the fandom of
Sheloyd!

Lloyd and Sheena (dot) Com - We're
Back, Baby!
Master Zanza Graveheart |
Welcome
to Lloyd and Sheena (DOT) Com V2.0! Updated: October
3, 2008 |
| Well hello there. Remember
this site? No, no you don't. Not like this you don't. ^_^
This is the brand new Sheloyd website. Remodeled, prettier, and
more professionally prepared for all you maniacs who still wanted me to
keep this bad boy going.
Truth be told, I haven't really been totally honest with you all.
You may notice over in my header the name "Master Zanza
Graveheart". Well, here's the truth. I've actually been
both all of this time. I guess this goes back to a little bit of a
story.
A long time ago (like, eight years ago), I approached the CCA as Master
Graveheart. I had a lot going for me, I thought. A few good
ideas, including comics starring Wario, Sakura Kasugano, Tien from
DragonBall Z, and Knuckles from the Sonic series. I even completed
my first Wario comic but never published it. Well, soon after, there
was an ugly incident that I won't go into and I took some time off from
the CCA. I eventually returned, but not for a while.
During my self-imposed exile, I arrived at a Tales of Symphonia BBS and had a
great time. So great that I ended up becoming the moderator of that
BBS. I also took on a new name too: Zanza. Why Zanza?
Well, let's just say I didn't think I'd be there long and I was watching
an episode of Rurouni Kenshin at the time. ^^;
But I digress. When I was at the Symphonia BBS, I made clear my
intentions to do a Sheloyd website (at the time, it was a very heavy
Colloyd (Lloyd and Colette *boos*) board. I like to think I changed
that, heh, heh.
But when I finally got my site around, I realized I had an opportunity
to do my crossover comics site. I matured my roster and after going
through more hero ideas, such as Yuffie, Mega Man, and others, I settled on a few
that were very dear to me. I chose Sango because she was just so
damn cool, Sheena because she represented a present loved character, and
Tifa, who is one of my all-time favorite female characters and an existing
staple in the CCA who was shelved when G-Man retired. I put them
together and went with Graveheart's Angels.
Then there was a problem. I had two identities, two boards, and
two site ideas. What do I do? Not wanting to really be uberly
fanboying out in front of the CCA side, and in turn not wanting to only be
that way towards one side, I went with a split-site
idea, but things weren't coming quickly. So the site went on hiatus.
During this time, I figured it would be a good time for you to hear my
story about the two webmasters, so here it is. I hope none of you
are too mad about it. We good?
Anyway, what can you expect from this site now? Well, how about an
update (almost) every week, including a Shallow Grave every three weeks
(hopefully)? Expect the Shallow Graves to be about 4-6 pages long and not
be the standard character vs. character format. I'm saving those for
the big dog comics. The galleries haven't really been updated in a long
time. Look for that to be amended next update. However, I do have three
pages of Sango vs. Tales of Symphonia for you. Remember
that? The comic I started three years ago? ...Oh, wait, this
is a new beginning. Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to Sango vs.
Tales of Symphonia! I begin it off with a whopping 19
pages!
...okay, there's seven new pages. But I'm nearing the end.
Only 17 more pages to go, bringing this epic up to 36 pages... wow, this
has been an epic, hasn't it? At least by CCA standards. Be sure to
update your links if you guys linked to only one half of the site.
Don't get me wrong, we're still all about Sheloyd, and we're still all
about Crossover Comics. Let's just call this a healthy blend of the
two without sacrificing any of the size of the site. By the way, are any of you interested in seeing the
old "Wario vs. Robotnik" comic? If so, shoot me an
email. I'll dig it up. But be warned. Editing, humor,
and, well, everything else, was done over six years ago, so judge fairly
if it shows up. Ah, yes, I've taken down the rants section
temporarily. Just until I actually get one put together, and if it
isn't active, it isn't worth having around with absolutely nothing in it,
y'know? Finally, for the time being, the buttons to the side will be
held in place by text until I figure out this sizing issue I'm
having. Expect it fixed by Monday night. P.S.: I apologize for the slight delay in posting
this. iPowerWeb was giving me some kind of password grief. But be honest; would things have been right
if things were precisely on time? ^^;

Update(?) Updated: May 30, 2008 |
| (The following is also found on
the other half of this website.)
Well, I didn't think things would stay the same this much, but when one
thing leads to another...
I sincerely apologize for the lack of updates and additions to
content. Part of me is just unmotivated to update this website
nowadays, but I most definitely want to. I really do. But when
you have so much on your plate, time for fun just seems to dwindle.
This October, I'll have had this website for over three years and what
is there to be shown for it? Messy picture galleries, an unfinished
comic, a mini-comic that has seemed to generate little interest outside of
the CCA community... things are tough here in cyberspace.
Not to mention it seems as though I'm getting ZERO hits to my website.
I'm in the middle of a big renovation to this site and things, well,
things just aren't going the way I planned on it. Don't get me
wrong, this isn't a matter of my love for Sheloyd, Tifa, Sango, or
crossover comics being diminished by any means. Things... are just
busy for me. So busy in fact I'm wondering if this website should
stay up at all. It costs money to keep this website up and I do so
for my own personal enjoyment of entertaining others, but if no one is
being entertained, then the logical step is for me to take this site down permanently.
I do have some extra pieces of artwork to add to not only the Sheloyd
shrine, but also the Sango and Tifa mini-shrines as well. Not to
mention I finally got some bios made (they'll be saved for the
renovation's completion) and new pages to the Sango vs. Tales of Symphonia
comic. But I get the feeling that all this is moot right now.
What is it that you the fan can do to remind me that you're coming
here? Send an email telling me you're enjoying the site. That
is one of the most important things a webmaster can get.
Seriously. Are you an artist? Send some fan art my way.
Got some website ideas? I'd love to hear them.
This is truly important. Let me know what you want to see.
Right now, this is simply the point of no return for me. Do I
continue (which I want to) or do I shut down? You the web surfers
have this page's fate in your hands.
PS on the part of the comics page: The new pages of Sango vs.
Tales of Symphonia WILL be up by Monday afternoon. I guarantee it.
(EDIT 6/2/08): Make that Tuesday. I forgot about a prior
engagement... *shudder* save me...)

Back! Updated: January 28, 2008 |
| "Welcome to 2007. Starting
now, you're getting the frequent updates you deserve, but don't quote me
on it. ^_^"
...I told you not to quote me on it...
Look, I honestly apologize. Things have been slow down the pike
and when I do hear a thing or two, it just seems to... well... not
translate. Anyway, I have a lot to update you all on.
First and foremost, there is a new Tales of Symphonia game coming out
exclusively for the Nintendo Wii (yay, Wii!). The name of the game
is Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk. Yeah, that name is
clearly a mouthful. Anyway, the good news is that Sheena and Lloyd
make a comeback in this one in brilliant new graphical display. The
bad news? Colette also returns as a playable character, something
that hasn't been confirmed for Lloyd, Sheena, or the other returning
heroes, Raine, Genis, Zelos, Regal, or Presea. Kratos hasn't been
confirmed yet, but if circumstances are right, he'll return.
A big question for the game is how they're going to treat
shipping. Obviously the fanbase is strongest for Sheloyd, so we'll
have to see where that goes. Colette's room has been shown to have
multiple pictures of Lloyd that were drawn... can we say
"stalker"?
Now, I know that Colloyd has a big fanbase as well, and that's fine and
good (actually, it isn't, heh, heh ^_^), but the fans have really become
outspoken really in support for Sheloyd. Now it seems as though that
the OVA for Tales of Symphonia has been primarily Colloyd based, even
though no romances have actually taken shape. There still seems to
be hope for Sheloyd fans though as we have four more episodes to be
shown. Still, its not as though we should take this OVA as
difinitive, one way or another. The magic of Tales of Symphonia is
in the first game itself, not the stuff that comes out afterwards. That is
the kind of thing you have to consider toppings to the cake of the
game. Sometimes they're good, sometimes you don't want them anywhere
near it. But I sincerely hope that all us Sheloyd fans aren't left
in the darkness any longer and, should perpetual twilight come, you can
look to lloydandsheena.com to be your source for the light of Sheloyd!
Getting away from sounding like a cult leader for a second, for those
of you who have seen Soul Calibur Legends on the Wii were treated to a
nice surprise. The game features Lloyd Irving as a playable
character and he isn't a secret one either. I'll give you a more
thurough report on it when I'm actually able to pick up the game.
The galleries have all been updated. There is more Sheloyd and
Sheena artwork than any of the others, so if you're looking for noticeable
updates, those would be your best bets. (UPDATE: ACK! The
pictures didn't load! Graves and I will be working double-time on
this.)
I've also begun work on my first "Tales Talk". After so
many scraps, I think I have one to be proud of and one that any shipper
for any Tales couple could agree with, not just us Sheloyd fans.
By the way, I'm still waiting for that first piece of fan art to be
sent to you guys without my noticing beforehand. If you have any to
keep the update mill going, drop me a line. Also, I'm looking for
products that may depict Sheloyd. If you got any, give me a buzz.
Finally, the biggest news yet is that I'm looking to see how the
website can be united as one big site that has both Sheloyd and CCA
Comics. Look for something drastically different and get ready to
update your bookmarks and links! No, don't worry, Sheloyd isn't
dieing, but one big site is easier to update than two sides of the same
site.

Life
Begins Anew Updated: January
28th, 2008 |
| Some time back, I posted two new
pages of Sango vs. Tales of Symphonia. I didn't update you on this
on my page because I thought I could post a full update during this time,
but with my site's server changing, updating was very difficult.
Nevertheless, here are your two brand spanking new pages of Sango vs. Tales
of Symphonia right here for you!
(UPDATE: I just noticed those four pages aren't loading. My
apologies. I'll fix it in coming days.)
With Sango vs. Tales reaching its halfway point, I've gotten the urge
to update some of the other things to this page, such as the links
section. Broken links have been fixed. My bad.
Also, for those of you wondering what I'm doing between updates, head
on over to the CCA message board. There, you'll usually find me
putzing around and making a damned fool of myself. ^_^
As soon as Sango vs. Tales of Symphonia is finished, I'll be charging
right along into Sheena's first crossover comic, Sheena vs. Naru. I
guarantee, this one will be finished a lot faster.
Yeah, we celebrated a two-year anniversary over a month ago.
Nothing really to celebrate. Oh well. Third time's the charm.
Also, I think its finally time I start doing some Grave Rants.
I've been too silent on my own website for too long. But I gotta ask
you guys... what do you want to hear from me? Do you want to hear
Sango/Sheena/Tifa related things? Do you want to see something more
like a blog? Maybe I could post top ten lists? Send me an
email with what you have in mind that you'd want to see from the Grave
Rants section. Right now, I'm leaning towards doing top ten lists in
additional to personal commentary, but more so top ten lists. What
do you guys think?
Also, I've seem to have gotten word that some of our CCA heroes would
like to start letting their voices be heard. We've talked this over
a little bit at the CCA boards, but nothing is set in stone yet.
What do you guys think about that too?
Wow, all this for so little... but hey, now that Sango vs. Tales is
just about set to wrap up in a couple more updates, you can look forward
to more greatness from the young site that could... update six months or
so... -_-;;
Finally, the biggest news yet is that I'm
looking to see how the website can be united as one big site that has both
Sheloyd and CCA Comics. Look for something drastically different and
get ready to update your bookmarks and links! No, don't worry,
comics aren't dieing, but one big site is easier to update than two sides
of the same site.

Halloween Treat (Not Really) Updated:
October 31, 2007 (November 4, 2007) |
| This update was originally
intended to be posted on Halloween night. But for reasons
unforseeable, I had to delay it until now. Many apologies.
What news do I bring you for Halloween? How about a very special
treat? I finished a comic! No... its not Sango vs. Tales of
Symphonia, but how about this? My first of hopefully many
"Shallow Graves"!
What is a Shallow Grave, you ask? Well, playing off of my name
and keeping with the mindset of a mini-comic, a Shallow Grave is a
mini-comic that I, Graveheart, produce on any random thing. In this
case, the release of Halo 3, which happened more then a month ago.
Uh... either way, I hope you enjoy Shallow Grave #1:

An
honest update?! Updated: February
11, 2007 |
| Welcome to 2007. Starting
now, you're getting the frequent updates you deserve, but don't quote me
on it. ^_^
I've got a lot of new images uploaded including the debut of the Groups
gallery and a nice juicy-sized update for the Sheloyd gallery.
My love for Sheloyd, however, has become quite the target for the
haters out there, but I'm here to tell you that I'm not backing down one
bit. I'll continue to bring you the Sheloyd goodness as I get it.
However, don't be surprised if this site ends up becoming more about
Graveheart's comics then my Sheloyd shrine, but dammit, I'm keeping my
shrine no matter what!

Labor(ous)
Day Changes. Updated: September 5th,
2007 |
| In case you missed it, I actually
updated really recently. No joke. Go check it out in the
archive if you missed it.
Anyway, I tweaked the quality of all the images on this site.
Hopefully I'll be able to add pictures to all the galleries from the
Sheloyd shrines to the Tifa and Sango shrines on this site.
The big news though is that I've changed all the upcoming comic
logos. The only one that hasn't been changed is Sango vs. Tales of
Symphonia, since I've already started it. Sooner then later, I'm
going to change the two website page logos. I think I want to make
the text stand out a little bit more.
Out of all of them, the one that has made the most drastic change is
Sheena vs. Naru, now titled Sheena Fujibayashi vs. Naru Narusegawa.
You'll notice it is also an all-new style of verses logos, with a stacking
effect going on as a homage to Sheena's special picture from the PS2
version of Tales of Symphonia. I hope you all enjoy the new twist.
As for my comic? Bare with me. Still awaiting some
spritework. Of course... if you're an artist and you want to help ol'
Grave/Graves/Graveheart/Ol' Lazy out, give me a buzz via email.
Begin your topic with "Help Response" so I don't mix it in with
the spam. Just to be safe.

On the plus side, I have some pages of the comic done, but I don't have
the time to upload them just yet. Kind of rushing here. I
wanted to let it be known about a few changes I've made to the site
overall.
First of all, due to auto-spammers, I've removed the hyperlink for both
mine and Zanza's pages. I'm going to experiment with this and see if
it changes anything. If not, I'll go back to the hyperlink style.
In one of the Sango vs. Tales of Symphonia pages, I accidentally posted
a panel twice. Consider that fixed.
Also fixed is the link to the first improv comic, Athena vs. MTV.
I've since gotten myself a DA account to try and gather more Sheena,
Lloyd, Sheloyd, Sango, and Tifa artwork for both sides of the site.
I hope to start filling up these shrines quickly.
I'm going to rename my trilogy I have planned, so expect a new banner
when I get a new name. In fact, aside from Sango vs. Tales of
Symphonia, I'm redoing ALL of the title banners. At least I'm going
to try to.
I've added a link to the completed beauty pageant comic. I think
it turned out pretty well and I'm particularly proud of my work.
Something I'm not proud of? How damn long its taken me to update
this site. Bare with me, please.

Improv
Again Updated: February 11, 2007 |
| For those of you who haven't been
a regular at the CCA boards lately, you'll see that I'm far from dead and
have been taking part in the newest improv comic, a beauty pageant!
All your favorite Graveheart's Angels characters make an appearance as
well as many favorite characters you have from other members. Check
it out from the beginning here.
I've finally got a few pictures up in the Sango and Tifa
galleries. Nothing much, but its a start. Hopefully I'll be
able to do thorough bios and more, but nothing is ever certain around
here.
Sango vs. Tales of Symphonia is still alive, btw. Update
soon. How does 5 pages sound? Good? When I start Sheena
vs. Naru, I'll move a LOT quicker. Hmmm... maybe I should start that
soon anyway.
If you really wanna know what else we in the CCA have been up to, check
out the message board. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some Final
Fantasy VI to play while this update uploads. ^_^

One
Year Anniversary? Updated: November
20, 2006 |
| Okay, time to get you all up to
date as to what the hell I've been doing for the past four months.
1: I've been rooting on my
Detroit Tigers for the better part of the baseball season. This was an especially emotional time for me as,
being a lifelong Tiger fan, I've been rooting for them, even through the
119-loss seasons and every other losing season between here and the last
championships we won. At times, it almost became lonely, but now
that the team has been doing all this wonderful stuff this season, its
become something to really get into here in the state of Michigan.
Hopefully we'll finally "Get to Heaven in '07." ^_^
2: Final Fantasy XI Online has been absorbing my life. Lets
face it, I'm going to be working on it for a while.
3: I've waited for the sprites for my comics, but no go, so I'm
going to have to rely on pure picture editing.
4: Lets face it, I've just been lazy.
5: And college, of course.
I apologize for the long delays. I'll try to be more thorough with my updates. In
other news, its our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Do I deserve some
presents? Maybe... depends if you can draw. As you can see,
one year in and we're still sans one Tifa and Sango mini-shrine. If
you got any good artwork of either of these two lovely ladies, feel free
to send them my way. If you have any Sheena, Lloyd, or Sheloyd
artwork, send them to Zanza on his half of the site. And finally, I
updated the comic. Remember that little tidbit that suddenly stopped
in mid-summer? Here is pages
12-14. Well, here is to another great year hopefully with
four times as many updates. What's my guarantee I'll update?
Well... take a look below.
No
jewels were harmed in the making of the above image... I think...

Year Anniversery! Updated: November
20, 2006 |
| Graves... you're killing me.
Heheh, just kidding, folks. But seriously, I apologize for the
delay. Everything just seems to keep getting in the way.
However, nothing will stop our burning desire to bring you the absolute
best Sheloyd page on the face of the internet! On
the plus side, I've found a LOT more Sheloyd and Sheena art, so expect a
huge update in the coming days (I hope). I'll try to provide more
frequent updates.
Hey, at least we're still updating here. And none too soon.
Our 1-year anniversary is today! For a more thorough update, visit
Graves' side. I've got work to do on my own half of this site.
If you'll excuse me, I gotta wipe the dust and cobwebs off of the
"update" button.

An
update?! *Heart Attack!* Updated:
June 28, 2006 |
| Not to be left out of the fun,
like Zanza, I have finally updated my portion of the site! I hope
you like what I have for you.
First, the thing that we've all waited for, the next FOUR PAGES of my
comic. Click here to check
it out.
In a follow up to my latest addiction, Phoenix Wright, I have added a
link to a site known as "Court Records." Go to the links
section for the link because I'm too lazy to put it up here.
Progress on the Sango and Tifa mini-shrines... well, that's non-existent.
It's not that I haven't tried to do anything, it's just I'm not happy with
the layout ideas I'm coming up with. Soon, folks, soon. Hey, I
updated my comic, didn't I? ^_^
Miss an update? Don't you check in every blue moon? Heh,
heh... seriously folks, if you happened to miss an old update, just click
the new news archive link in the front page of this very site. Now
go enjoy that comic.

HUGE
Update (finally) Updated: June 28, 2006 |
| Oh my goodness! An
update? And here you thought your friendly neighborhood Sheloyd
master was going to forsake you even longer than he did before.
Well, good news for all patient little boys and girls: I updated!
First, I want it to be known that there are new watermarks in the
artwork. The old one was too colorful and drew far too much
attention away from the picture. I've opted for a more simpler
design. Now don't fret. I'm working on a new use for the old
watermark. Maybe it'll be a button to my website?
I updated the Sheena artwork collection too. New artists and new
work from current artists now grace this site's presence. And not to
be left out of the fun, Lloyd also has new artwork on his page. Put
them together, what else do you get? More Sheloyd art too! As
for group photos, I'll add them in my next update, I swear.
In addition, I've added a link to Phantasy Planet Aselia, a Tales
website with fun-looking artwork. Check out the links section for
more.
And finally, Graveheart and I have both constructed a news archive
section. If you want to look at updates you may have missed, check
out the front page.

Objection! Updated:
April 1, 2006 |
Here I bet you were expecting
me to bid farewell to comic making as an April Fool's joke to you all,
huh? Well, sorry to disappoint you, but this is my April Fool's day
joke: I UPDATED! And here you were expecting another let down as far
as updates go, huh? Weren't ya, huh? Huh? He, he... in other
news, I've finished my latest addiction, which led me to this update's
title. That addiction is Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney for the
Nintendo DS. It's only five episodes long and there may be little
replay value, but it's still one of my absolute favorite games of the
handheld genre. I won't spoil you, so pick up the game and have fun! Speaking
of Graveheart's Angels, Sango has been kept busy in my latest update to
Sango vs. Tales of Symphonia (remember that?). I got the next two
pages up now. I've
also worked on getting things prepared for the Sango and Tifa
mini-shrines, so this'll be more than a comic destination soon. Also,
I'm going to increase the picture quality of every image you see
here. It's a little... fuzzy, don't you agree? Finally, the web mail
is officially up. You can email me at graves@lloydandsheena.com
from this point forward until otherwise stated. Check Zanza's page
for his webmail. This is our new web mail home.

Spiritua,
er, Webmaster Reborn! Updated:
April 1, 2006 |
| This is Zanza, your
friendly-neighborhood Sheloyd master, officially announcing my return to
the world of Sheloyd. It's been a long while, but I've finally
decided to get off of my lazy ass and give you guys an update as to what
is going on.
Yeah, it's been a couple months since I've done anything with my very
expensive website that looks like it cost 25 cents to make, but let's
face it, re-watermarking is a very time-consuming thing to do. And
to make matters worse, I'm also in the process of rearranging the site's
layouts so links will be different in coming weeks. And also, better
buttons and that new layout will be coming soon. Also, I hope to add
more than just simple images to the shrines as well. Coming here to
look at images is just a little... dishwater.
Yes, I'm getting rid of the eyesore watermark. I love the edit
job I
did, but just not as a watermark.
Also, if you need to email me with some artwork or fan requests, my web
mail address is zanza@lloydandsheena.com
so let me hear from you!

24 =
Graveheart's addiction Updated:
March 7, 2006 |
There are very few TV shows out
there that I find to be even worth it that aren't anime. While
watching Excel Saga for the first time (which I love now) I find myself
putting everything aside ever since January to watch my favorite show of
all time, 24 on Fox. What's not to love about this show? It's
always different, it's got great characters, it can make you hate the bad
guy, its the very definition of drama, and the action sequences are second
to none. If you haven't seen 24, shame on you. The next
episode is on Monday, March 13th. Someone is supposed to die so if
you want a dose of the drama, there is your chance. In comic news, I've
added a new page of Sango vs. Tales of Symphonia. It's been up for a
while for those of you who haven't been near the CCA message boards.
You can check it out here.

Super
Bowl Weekend and notice of hiatus Updated:
February 4, 2006 |
| Hey everyone, just wanted to let
you know that Zanza and I are alive. Yes, we know it's been months
since I've updated Sango vs. Tales of Symphonia, but now I have two
pages up! Yay! However, I am now left with the monumental task of
uploading the new Tifa and Sango mini-shrines, along with re-watermarking
all of the images on this site. I got several complaints that
they're too attention grabbing, so I'm redoing them.
With Super Bowl Sunday coming around, I want to make my pick this year
known. I've been right about the winner of the big tame ever since
the Patriots beat the Rams, and I want my streak to keep going, so my
offical "Masterful Pick" is the Pittsburgh Steelers!
Watch this, now they're going to lose since I picked them -_-.
Anyway, while I enjoy the NFL Experience here in Detroit, I'll be
working hard and hardly working all at once. I've talked with Zanza
and he's agreed to hold off updating for now until I can do some major
re-working jobs on this site including new backgrounds and new layouts,
hopefully. Those other pages I promised you? On the way.

Hiatus Updated:
February 4, 2006 |
| Hey guys, just to let you know
that the site will be on hiatus. Graves has some major stuff to work
out when it comes to this site. For more details, check out his half
of the site.
Hopefully emailing will be active by the time he's done AND we'll be
searchable on Google and other search engines. This site needs more
traffic, it's pitiful how bad we're doing sometimes. ^_^;;;

First
update of 2006 Updated: January 25,
2006 |
| Welcome back to the show.
After almost a month without an update, I'm pleased to announce that the
first images of the Sango and Tifa mini-shrines are up and running.
It'll be a while before they have all their content, but I figure it'd
give you something to tide you over before I get chapters three through
seven of Sango vs. Tales of Symphonia up and running.
Meanwhile, you may have noticed I've taken down the update markers for
the improv comic. You can find the link to the completed comic in
the comics section. If I can pry myself away from the MegaMan X
Collection for GameCube, I'll get some heavy duty work done on the comic.

Happy
New Year! Updated: January 6, 2006 |
| Wow, it's hard to believe it's
2006 already, eh? I just wanted to tell you all that, yes, I am
still alive. I hope you all had a great holiday season.
No real update this time. Just added two images to the Sheloyd
galleries, curiously of Robbie Allen and Kuchinawa. I'm also working
more with Graves on the layouts of both sites. In addition, I'm
going to be making the Sheloyd shrine a lot fancier so it's not just this
dull black and white. It's the greatest couple in Tales of Symphonia
and they deserve the extra style! ^_^

Happy
Holidays, everyone Updated: December 28,
2005 |
| Happy Holidays, everyone. I
hope you all enjoyed yourself this season. For Christmas, I received
over 5000 minutes worth of DVD viewing, five games, my beautiful Tifa ver.
1 statue and Tifa Advent Children figure, as well as many other goodies
that I thoroughly enjoy. Needless to say, my next chapters of Sango
vs. Tales of Symphonia will be a little impeded. Tell you what,
instead of the planned three chapters for the comic's next update will be
five chapters. Yep, FIVE chapters. Hope that's fine. ^_^
I was debating with myself weather or not I should update for something
this small, but I just wanted to let you all know that the second page of
my improv comic has been completed. For now, I'm going to have a
ticker at the top of my news page. It'll lead to the first chapter,
my chapters, and the latest chapter of the comic. I'll update them
as soon as new chapters become avalible. Enjoy the new year,
everyone and I'll see you all in 2006!

FINALLY!
An Update! Updated: December 9,
2005 |
| Sorry for the lack of updates
recently, boys and girls, but, well, finals have been a living hell and
there is no end in sight. Anyway, I have a few updates for you.
My first order of business is to let you all know that I have finally
submitted my chapter of "How Morrigan and Cammy Saved
Christmas." You can view the comic here
at the official CCA website. There may be a third round added, so
stay tuned boys and girls.
Secondly, my third, fourth, and fifth page of Sango vs. Tales of
Symphonia should be up soon. Sorry, but school really delayed my
progress of finishing up ToS and getting my save markers in place for when
I do the other pages of the comic.
And finally, I will be working on my first "Grave Rant,"
which has a yet-to-be-determined topic, but chances are it will be about
characters against other characters with my take on who the winner would
be and why. I've just always wanted to so something like that, but
again, don't quote me on it.

Sheena
and Lloyd Galleries Updated:
December 9, 2005 |
| I'll never understand the
fascination with weird Tales of Symphonia couples. It's bad enough
some people are so pushy when it comes to a Sheena/Zelos or Lloyd/Colette romance,
but now we begin to get just downright disturbing and sick. *cough*RegalColette*cough*,
*cough*GenisRaine*cough*, *cough*KratosSheena*cough*. Excuse me, I'm
allergic to insanity. ^^
Anyway, now, by popular demand, I have finally made the Sheena and
Lloyd galleries! (Insert victory fanfare here) I've also found a
couple new Sheloyd images that have been added to the shrine. There
is much more artwork I have to add to all the shrines, but for now I
wanted to get at least a few up to get you all going.
Remember, if you see your art here, and it belongs to you and you're
not given credit, contact me and I'll make sure the appropriate credit is
given. If your art is here, and you don't want it to be here, just
ask me and I'll take it down, though I'm sure the fans here at this site
would love to see it stay. Again, I can't always contact the
original artists either because of a lack of response, inability to ask,
or the art was directed to me by another person or from a message board
post, or something like that. I want all of you artists to be happy,
so if there has to be a change, feel free to let me know when my email
comes up.
In
addition, I've added my personal avatar and signature picture from my
account on the Tales of Symphonia message boards. Hopefully people
enjoy seeing my works.
Email still isn't up yet either. Don't expect it anytime soon.

No
Thanksgiving Update
Updated: November 24, 2005 |
Sorry everyone, but I don't have
an update for Thanksgiving. But the reasons are:
- I haven't gotten the appropriate scene rips from Tales of Symphonia
to make page 3 for Sango vs. ToS... yet.
- I may have been working on my signs for WWE Survivor Series in
Detroit this Sunday.
Anyway, I should have Page 3 of the comic done by my next update.
If you need to contact me or Zanza for anything, until we get our email
accounts set up through this site, we're going to ask that you PM me your
thoughts through the Kikouken City Message Board. DON'T make topic
threads about your thoughts please. I'm usually
hanging out there, so give me a ring and I'll answer your requests, or
forward them to Zanza where appropriate.
Oh yes, and if you're interested, I finished the logo for Tifa vs. WWE.
I'm not that pleased with it though, since the Raw stage is severely
outdated. At least it has the wrestling ring in it. Plus it
gave me the chance to use my simple Tifa edit. Yes, she will be in
her Advent Children outfit, which I personally think is totally badass.
I mean, I like her old outfit, but this one is just so much better. |

Thanksgiving
Treat
Updated: November 24, 2005 |
| Happy Thanksgiving,
everyone. I'm busy getting the Lloyd and Sheena galleries up and
running, but for now I thought you may enjoy this. I've added scene
scripts to the Sheloyd shrines. How awesome is that? Now, even
if you can't see the scenes for yourself (which I wouldn't understand why
since Sheena is, like, one of the easiest people to get to like you in the
game), you can now see why more and more Tales of Symphonia fans are
getting hooked on the craze day after day!
My next update will hopefully be announcing the Lloyd and Sheena
galleries. Remember, there may be other characters involved in the
pictures besides those two, so don't be surprised if you see one of Sheena
and Colette in the Sheena gallery or one of Lloyd and Zelos in the Lloyd
gallery. In addition to the Lloyd and Sheena galleries, I hope to
have my first "Tales Talk" up, which will be the "Term
Paper" that made me a name for myself in the Skit-Style BBS and the
official Tales of Symphonia message boards. Well... maybe they
didn't, but the members sure won't forget any time soon, let me tell you
that much. Anyway, that was just a rough draft anyway, so don't be
surprised if I decide to post something a little different.
Graves and I are also going to be busy making minor tweaks to the site
over time, so don't be surprised if the page looks different next time you
come here. We're going to be working on the background,
mostly. Plain black is just so boring. Plus our site layouts
are looking TOO similar, so we hope to change it up a little bit, even if
it's just a font and background change.
We're also going to be working on our email accounts, so you can start
contacting us soon (hopefully).
You stay classy, World Wide Web. |

Grand
Opening!
Updated: November 20, 2005 |
| Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to
my new home on the web! My name is Master Graveheart, but everyone
just calls me Graves. If you stumbled upon my part of this website
than that means you must have some interest in crossover comics.
For those who don't know, crossover comics are fan-edited comics which pit two
or more characters, usually from different series', against one
another in a comical battle. The most prominent crossover comic
website is none other than the home of the Crossover Comic Archive, or the
CCA, which I hope to be a member of if my first comic goes well.
Speaking of first comics, the first two pages of my first comic, Sango vs.
Tales of Symphonia, is up as we speak. Every so often, hopefully
pretty quickly, I'll be posting new pages to the comic until it reaches
completion. In addition, I'm participating in the CCA's improv
crossover comic, "How Morrigan and Cammy Saved Christmas," which
we all hope will be done BY Christmas. ^_^
Anyway, back to the site. It's a pretty simple design. You'll notice the buttons at the top of the page.
They're pretty self explanatory. Main takes you back to the homepage
of this site where you can get to Zanza's half, Graveheart Home takes you
back to this page, Comics takes you to the comics page, etc. etc.
The thing is, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the Sango and Tifa
mini-shrines up. I really don't have that much for it besides a few
pieces of official art for both, along with some fan art for Tifa's.
The links page is pretty well set. I think I've got all I wanted
to put in it. More links may come, but that's pretty much all we
need for now.
That's just about all I really want to say for this first edition of
"Graveheart News." I'll try to update my site every so
often, so keep checking back.
Welcome to the Crossover Comic HQ! Please pardon our dust while
both sites attempt to get up and running full speed ahead.
PS: My email is going to take some time getting set up.
Sorry for the inconvenience. |

Welcome
to the show!
Updated: November 20, 2005 |
| On October 31, 2004, I told people
at a small Skit-Style BBS that I would come out with my own Sheloyd
homepage and that I would aspire to make it the very best possible.
I also told them that I would have it out in about a week.
Over one year later I finally get off my lazy ass and make the site,
with help from my longtime partner in crime, Graves, who has waited over
FIVE years to get his crossover comic site out. What a guy, huh?
Anyway, welcome one and all to "Zanza's (almost) Ultimate Sheloyd
Page!" I am your host, Zanza, your authority on everything
Sheloyd related. Like yourself, most likely, I am a huge fan of the
Sheloyd, which is the romance between Tales of Symphonia's Lloyd Irving
and Sheena Fujibayashi, and enjoy sharing it with others. I guess
you can say I'm a fan boy, but there really isn't a problem with it, is
there? ^_^
The site, both halves, are pretty straightforward. I have my
Sheloyd Shrine, which consists of MORE than just pictures. I also
have individual Lloyd, Sheena, and Group galleries. The Group
galleries is basically pictures that HAVE Lloyd and Sheena in them, along
with other characters, but not in a romantic sense.
I'm always accepting fanart. If you have any Lloyd, Sheena, or
Sheloyd fanart, be sure to send them my way. Zanza I should have our
email accounts set up soon. Images for Lloyd and Sheena's individual
gallery, as well as the group gallery, will be up shortly. Please be patient
as it'll all be worth it, trust me. Until then, enjoy the Sheloyd
images. Let's face it, it's what most of you are here to see,
right? ^_^ I hope you enjoy what I have to
offer on this site. Don't forget to visit Graves' side too.
He's doing a comic featuring Sheena. Pardon both of our dust while
we try and get everything running to utter perfection. Image
galleries should be up in a few days. Until next time, everyone! |
